St. Vincent – Fishers Hospital

The St. Vincent Fishers Hospital project consists of a 110,000 square foot inpatient expansion to the existing hospital in Fishers, Indiana. The project site is 24.65 acres and is located at 13916 Southeastern Parkway, Fishers, Indiana.

The hospital serves a community that has experienced explosive growth over the last 15 years. The 50-bed inpatient expansion includes 30-medical surgical rooms, 10 observation beds and 10 labor-delivery-recovery postpartum rooms. The design incorporated elements that reduce stress and expedite the healing process.

St. Vincent Fishers Hospital is the first hospital in Indiana and the 17th in the nation to achieve LEED for Healthcare certification.

The project sitework included new parking lots, a new loop access road, utility infrastructure, stormwater quality treatment units, a bulk oxygen storage tank enclosure, new cooling towers, and an innovative underground stormwater detention system with an efficient flow control valve that reduced the size of the system by 20%. A healing garden with landscaping, pergola, pavers and a water feature also adds an outdoor space for patients and visitors.
