Entry Level Civil Engineer

JPS Consulting Engineers is growing and looking for an entry level Civil Engineer in Indianapolis. Come join a dynamic team of professionals at JPS Consulting Engineers. As a Civil Engineer you’ll work collaboratively with mulit-disciplined project teams to create site plans for our healthcare, higher education, commercial, institutional, and multi-family residential clients. Our culture of empowerment will allow you to gain experience and build long lasting relationships in the industry.

Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in all phases of the project, including permitting review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to ribbon cutting.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • 0-4 years’ professional engineering experience
  • F.E. certification
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Good communication skills

Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in helping to realize our projected growth
  • Focus on design of all types of building structures
  • Develop building structural systems, both gravity and lateral
  • Help to build and maintain positive relationships with new and established clients
  • Plan and estimate work and manpower requirements; control budget
  • Manage major and minor design projects from beginning to end
  • Preparation and checking of design drawings and/or specifications

Requirements:

  • 5-10 Years Structural Design Experience
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Structural Engineering with Professional Engineers License
  • Experience in designing major structures with emphasis on concrete, steel, masonry and wood
  • Experience with structural rehabilitation is preferred
  • Strong Communication Skills
